Gordon Viere, CPA

Gordon Viere began his career with the CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in 1975. CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is a professional services firm with three integrated businesses working together to advance our clients’ success, create uncommon careers for our people, and do what is right for the public. The three integrated businesses are wealth advisory, outsourcing and public accounting (audit, tax, and consulting). CliftonLarsonAllen offers unprecedented emphasis on serving privately held businesses and their owners, as well as nonprofits and governmental entities. The firm has a staff of more than 3,600 professionals, operating from more than 90 offices across the country and ranked as one of the top 10 firms in the nation.

Gordy served as the chief executive officer of CLA from 1989 to 2014 and had responsibility for leadership and management, including strategic planning for the future strength and viability of the firm. Through the years he has been a presenter for many professional and civic seminars and conventions relating to topics on management, leadership and various other business related matters. Revenue grew from approximately $10 million to $600 million during Gordy’s tenure as CEO.

Gordy founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC and CliftonLarsonAllen Outsourcing through December 31, 2014.   He currently serves as the chief wealth advisory officer for CliftonLarsonAllen LLP.

He has been involved in numerous merger and acquisition (M & A) transactions and advises professional service organizations and businesses on M & A, strategic, governance and other business and financial matters.
