Ken Baggett

Ken Baggett serves as CohnReznick’s Chairman of the Board. Prior to this, he had served as Co-CEO of CohnReznick, along with Tom Marino, since the Firm was formed through the combination of J.H. Cohn and Reznick Group in 2012. Ken was also the Managing Principal and CEO of Reznick Group where he led that firm to rank among the top 20 largest public accounting firms in the U.S. Under his tenure as CEO, Reznick Group was regularly ranked among the top accounting firms in the cities where its offices were located. Ken is consistently listed as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Accountants” byAccounting Today and as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Practitioners” by CPA Magazine. In 2011, 2012, and 2013, he was recognized by Inside Public Accounting as one of the five most admired CPAs by his peers in a nationwide survey among 500 accounting firms. Ken was named the outstanding alumnus for the Auburn University School of Accountancy and was also recognized as one of the top 40 alumni in the last 40 years (40 of 40) for the School of Business at Auburn University.

Ken’s professional experience encompasses a range of real estate/tax issues related to the development and structuring of multi-family and commercial ventures. He also provides structuring advice to developers, builders, syndicators, investment banks, corporate investors, and housing finance agencies. Additionally, he advises clients on numerous issues including those in the low-income housing tax credit area. Ken also represents numerous long-term healthcare facilities in the eastern United States as well as a number of clients involved with rehabilitation and revitalization projects in various cities. He has also been extensively involved with student and military housing developments.

Ken is currently president and a board member of the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition and is a past president and current board member of the Auburn University School of Accountancy Advisory Council. He serves on the board of Government Transformation Initiative (GIT) and is a frequent speaker on subjects relating to real estate development and investment.
