Kathleen Walton joined Kennedy and Coe in 2013, bringing deep experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private capital, as well as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and management advisory services. Promoted to principal in 2014, Kathleen assists clients with their current and future debt and equity needs, corporate development strategy, and mergers and acquisitions advisory services.
In addition to being a corporate and M&A attorney, Kathleen was a partner at a $500 million private equity firm where she negotiated and evaluated dozens of acquisitions, and participated in capital-raising and portfolio company management. Kathleen also served as CFO and General Counsel for a growth-oriented payment processing business where she set growth strategy, fulfilled finance functions and successfully negotiated five rounds of growth capital. Additionally, Kathleen holds Series 79 and 82 licenses.
Passionate about her work, Kathleen is energized by helping her clients plan for and get through stressful business situations such as a merger or acquisition.
