Ray is Senior Vice President responsible for expanding Client Accounting Services and Tax Outsourcing to our clients across North America. His goal is to help accountants and bookkeepers get closer to their clients and to ensure they remain their most trusted, strategic advisor. His teams innovate and deliver the technology, education, and services accounting professionals need to support their clients.
With more than 23 years in the accounting industry, Ray has established a track record of success leading sales, marketing, support and operations teams across North America. He brings a deep and broad base of both technical and sales leadership expertise, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities for accounting professionals. Throughout his career, Ray has delivered many keynote and workshop presentations demonstrating thought leadership to accounting and bookkeeping professionals. He has also participated in the AICPA Executive Roundtable annual meetings.
Most recently Ray was VP of Accountant Solutions, North America at Sage, where he focused on leading the accounting and bookkeeping business growth of cloud accounting applications for small to medium businesses. Prior to that role, Ray led strategic sales for the QBO product line at Intuit where he helped drive the launch and expansion of the QuickBooks Online platform that many firms and small businesses use today. Barlow was also the VP of Sales at CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, for many years and VP of Sales at RIA/Thomson where he led teams selling software and research.
Ray graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Management. He also has attended executive level courses in Strategic Marketing and Executive Sales Management at the University of Chicago.
